This wiki has been created to share ideas for the use of social software, such as blogs, wikis and social bookmarks by people in traditional 'backroom' professions such as cataloguing, indexing and knowledge management.

It has been set up in advance of the Cilip Cataloguing & Indexing Group's Blogging from the Backroom event on 8 June 2007 in London.
